 The Fordyce Hotel has a Renaissance revival style with Spanish and Italiante elements. It was erected on the site of the Palace bathhouse in 1915 by Col. S. W Fordyce. It is the largest and most ornate structure on bathhouse row. It has lavish terra-cotta window embellishments. The stained-glass and copper marquee was made with Greek design motifs. The limestone in the porch came from Batesville. This is now the Hot Springs National Park Visitor Center. It  contains interpreting exhibits with a lavish interior featuring fountains and stained-glass ceilings.  

 Eureka Springs  is America's Authentic 19th Century Victorian Village, Nestled in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas.  The one thing I like best about the Eureka Springs area is the water.  It gushes out of the ground.  It gushes out of the hills.  It even gushes out of solid rock.  

This sparkling stream of pure, clean water is a good ten feet across and almost a foot deep.  Yet, less than ten feet farther downstream, ALL the current disappears, and does it without so much as a little whirlpool.  I'm talking about GONE.

 The Old Mill  Even the birds are excited about The Old Mill, in North Little Rock where the opening shot of Gone With The Wind was filmed. It is a favorite of photographers because of the flowers, and the unique landscaping where posing just plain comes natural.

 West of Oden  Oden is in the gentle mountains known as Ouachita.
Oden is on Highway 88 right after it branches off from US Highway 270 in Pencil Bluff.
Oden has a population of about 245, and people who don't know any better
are liable to write the little town off as insignificant.
